Registration Status

EU REACH

All ExxonMobil products which are purchased by customers directly from an ExxonMobil affiliate in the European Economic Area have been duly registered as required by EU REACH. Polymer products are exempted from registration, but all required registrations for monomers and additives are completed. Customers purchasing our products from an ExxonMobil affiliate in the European Economic Area are considered as downstream users under EU REACH.

ExxonMobil Safety Data Sheets are updated in accordance with REACH requirements and are available online. In the EU Safety Data Sheet will you find information on registrations numbers for substances that are considered as hazardous according to REACH and CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation (EU) 1272/2008)

ExxonMobil products imported into or placed on the market of the European Economic Area by customers either directly or as part of a mixtures are not covered by this data or information.

ExxonMobil continues to strongly recommend that customers should specifically assess their legal responsibilities under REACH before any import into the European Economic Area. ExxonMobil does not routinely provide any Only Representative (OR) service for our products. Contact ExxonMobil for more information.

UK REACH

UK REACH entered into force on January 1^st, 2021 and is currently in a transitional phase to allow industry to prepare for registration under UK REACH. Registrations under UK REACH will likely be required in three stages, the first one expected at the earliest in 2025. A definitive statement on the future registration of ExxonMobil substances and the eventual provision of Only Representative support will be communicated in due time after the final UK REACH guidelines have been made available.

ExxonMobil strongly recommends that customers should specifically assess all legal responsibilities under UK REACH, when importing substances into Great Britain after January 1^st, 2021. Companies based outside of Great Britain, who intend to import ExxonMobil products purchased outside Great Britain, should also review and consider UK REACH obligations.
